For Kelly Alayna, songwriting was never just a career path, but a calling. Years before stepping into the music industry, she dreamed that someone served her a platter at a long banquet table bearing a single word: “Songwriter.”

 

Raised in small town South Georgia and now based just outside Nashville, Tennessee, Kelly has spent years honing her craft as a singer, songwriter, pianist, worship leader and artist. Her musical journey has taken her from leading worship for more than a decade to performing on notable stages throughout the Southeast and beyond, building a reputation for blending faith filled messages with contemporary country and pop influences.

 

That calling would eventually produce one of her most impactful songs. Written from a simple prayer, Kelly's breakout single, "Take Me Back to Church", spent several months on K-LOVE's Future Hits Station and was later recognized as a finalist in the 2025 Unsigned Only Music Competition. The song introduced listeners to her storytelling songwriting style and her ability to connect personal faith with everyday life.

 

Continuing to expand her sound, Kelly released "Purpose" featuring JWOODZ, a genre blending anthem that combines contemporary Christian, country, and hip hop influences. Her growing catalog has generated more than half a million streams across digital platforms, while her social media presence has attracted a dedicated audience of more than 30,000 followers on TikTok.

 

No stranger to the stage, Kelly has performed at respected venues including The Bluebird Cafe and Fox & Locke, and has appeared at major events such as OneFest, sharing festival lineups with artists including TobyMac, Anne Wilson, and Jeremy Camp. She is also a member of the Country Music Association and continues to build her presence throughout Nashville's vibrant music community.
